“When we become aware that we do not have to escape our pains, but that we can mobilize them into a common search for life, those very pains are transformed from expressions of despair into signs of hope” -Henri Nouwen
“The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing… not healing, not curing… that is a friend who cares.” -Henri Nouwen

We have your family in our prayers, Cara–Thanks for the email updates. It sounds like he will recover, just slowly. Maybe its better to recover slowly-too quick and its suspect.
We also recently picked up a special Easter-y box of goodies up from the PC office—THANK YOU. You are so creative & thoughtful. I am pacing myself through the quotes, because they are so great. THANK YOU, Thank You.
Bless.
Thanks for the prayers, we appreciate every one.
I’m glad you got the box. I must say, you make it way too fun & addictive to send goodie boxes to.
